Abstract
What properties characterize a bottleneck through which pedestrians are walking? Using Koopman theory, we analyze simulated bottleneck scenarios for their underlying geometrical components. The obtained models deconstruct the dynamical system into intrinsic spatio-temporal patterns allowing a high-accuracy reconstruction and geometrical interpretation.
