Abstract
In ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions, copious rates of photoninduced processes are expected through the interaction of the large electromagnetic fields of the nuclei, which enables the production of particles such as inclusive hadrons, lepton pairs, or hypothetical magnetic monopoles. This talk presents recent measurements of processes in such ultra-peripheral collisions with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC.
