Abstract
In this work, we have proposed to control and simulate a system composed of two DC-DC converters and a single DC-AC converter through several simulation scenarios. This configuration makes it possible to reduce the power processed by each converter and improve the system's flexibility. In this way, it becomes possible to control the number of panel strings to be operated according to the power required for grid injection. What's more, if some panels fail, the rest of the system continues to operate normally. This architecture also makes it possible to optimize maximum power point tracking (MPPT), particularly in the presence of partial shading. Simulation results show that the system remains stable, even under partial shading conditions and even if a panel ceases to operate.
