We report preliminary results on a search for new phenomena in an event sample with monojets and large missing transverse momentum in the final state. The analysis uses 1.00 fb−1 of data collected in 2011 with the ATLAS detector [1]. Good agreement is observed between the number of events in data and the Standard Model predictions. The results are translated into improved limits on a model with Large Extra Dimensions.
