An unusual high transient anisotropy up to 0.65 in cadmium meso-tetraphenyl porphyrin in tetrahydrofuran was recorded which dacays on a 100 ps timescale. Opposite to previous work, this behaviour was explained by an incoherent mixing of excited state absorption, ground state bleach and stimulated emission.
