Tilted axis cranking covariant density functional theory and its applications

Recent progress on tilted axis cranking covariant density functional theory and its applications to nuclear magnetic and antimagnetic rotation are briefly presented. In particular, the magnetic rotation band in 198Pb and the antimagnetic rotational band in 105Cd are discussed.
