A review of the ATLAS measurements sensitive to parton distribution functions is presented. The analyses use proton–proton collision data at center–of–mass–energy √s = 7 TeV collected at the Large Hadron Collider between April and November 2011. When included in QCD fits, the ATLAS data allow for improving the experimental constraints on the gluon and strange–quark parton density functions of the proton.
