Resonance Production with the LHCb Experiment

Studies of strange and charm resonance production in the forward region provide important input to the importance to the understanding of QCD models. The latest studies at LHCb of resonance production in both proton-proton and proton-lead collisions are presented, with particular emphasis on charmonium production including the production of Z(4430).
