We compute the valence-quark leading twist parton distribution amplitudes (PDAs) of heavy pseudoscalar mesons ηc and ηb and find that they are both broader than the δ-like function while narrower than the asymptotic one. The evolution of distribution amplitude with momentum scale is then considered and PDAs will turn to a asymptotic form when the momentum goes to infinity.
