Electron-molecule scattering with analytic static potential approach

A newly proposed analytic method to calculate static potential has been applied to study the elastic scattering of electron with CO2 molecule. The molecule has been represented as a test case by using S TO−3G Gaussian wave functions initially. Results obtained for differential cross-section show good agreement when compared with experimental reported results.
