Hard diffraction and Photon-induced processes with Proton Tagging at the LHC

We describe some of the measurements that can be performed at the LHC by the TOTEM, CMS and ATLAS collaborations on hard diffraction in order to understand better the structure of the Pomeron. We will also describe the prospects concerning the search for quartic γγγγ anomalous couplings.
