The contributions to the D0 − mixing parameter y from the D0 → PP, PV channels are calculated, based on the corresponding decay amplitudes extracted from data in the factorization-assisted topological-amplitude approach. It is found that the PP, PV contributions amount up to yPP+PV = (0.21 ± 0.07), about one third of the experiment measurement yexp = (0.63 ± 0.08)%.
