We resume our results on the heavy quarkonium hybrids [19], and on the recently observed pentaquark states [16–18]. The latter have been investigated in three different scenarios: as compact pentaquark states [20], as a quantum superposition of D(*)Λc, D(*)Σc andD(*)Σ(*)candmeson-baryon states [30], and as a quantum superposition of meson-baryon molecular states and compact five-quark states [31].
