AB Aur is a Herbig Ae star that hosts a well-known protoplanetary disk that depicts a plethora of features that can be attributed to the presence of a forming planet, such as a large inner cavity, a dust trap, and spiral arms. We present NOEMA observations of molecular species towards this transition disk around AB Aur, including CO, 13CO, C18O, HCN, HCO+, SO, H2CO, and H2S. These observations reveal complex chemistry with strong chemical differentiation and the presence of a cavity-crossing filament.
