Production of light 𝚵-hypernuclei, 𝚵7H

A light Ξ hypernucleus, Ξ7H, is expected to be bound. Furthermore, it is pointed out that Ξ7H will decay into ΛΛ5H with a large branching ratio. We plan to study the 7Li(K−, K+) reaction to investigate the Ξ7H system and to evaluate the experimental feasibility to perform decay pion spectroscopy of ΛΛ5H in future.
