Particles discrimination and tracking through a matrix of detection coupled with a voltage-controlled oscillator
Aix Marseille Université, CNRS, Université de Toulon, IM2NP UMR 7334, Marseille, France
Published online: 21 November 2023
A particle detection chain based on a CMOSSOI VCO circuit associated to a 3x5 matrix of detection is presented. The solution is optimized for the recognition and tracking of low energy particles. Two ions are considered: an alpha and a lithium. These two ions were chosen because there are the secondary particles generated by the neutronboron 10 interaction.
Key words: Sensor / detection / VCO / radiation
