Abstract. We first review recent theoretical results related to the ϕ-N and ϕ-nucleus interactions. Thereafter, preliminary results of transport simulations of 12 GeV pA reactions to study the corresponding dilepton spectrum measured at the KEK E325 experiment are presented.
