500-W Average Power, 100-mJ level Pulse Energy by Q-switched 7x7 Multicore Fiber Lasers

This work focuses on achieving high peak and average power through incoherent beam combination of Q-switched 49-core fiber laser. Results show 1.5-MW peak power, and 502-W average power between 1-10 kHz.
