A central problem in today’s physics is the determination of neutrino properties, e.g; its mass and Majorana nature. The problem is just in the intersection between nuclear and particle physics, both experimental and theoretical ones. In this talk we shall discuss an alternative to fix the uncertainties attributed to the nuclear structure part of the problem and it consists of the calculation of ordinary muon capture processes (OMC) leading to nuclei which participate in nuclear double beta decay chains.
