Bibliometric analysis of the assessment of wind generation capacity

Abstract
This study employs bibliometric analysis using Scopus data and tools like VOSviewer and Biblioshiny to map global research trends in wind energy generation capacity. Analyzing publications from 1975 to 2025, we identify key contributors, institutions, and evolving research themes through co-citation and keyword analysis. Results show a significant acceleration in research output post 2007, with China and the UK leading in productivity and influence. Emerging themes include offshore wind, grid integration, and AI applications. The findings highlight a shift from purely technical optimization towards policy, economics, and sustainability, offering strategic insights for researchers and policymakers to identify future collaboration and innovation avenues.
