- As shown in Ref. [8], there is a nonzero contribution to the coefficient ζU for dilute granular gases when the kurtosis a2, s (which measures the departure of the HSS from the Maxwellian distribution) is accounted for. However, the magnitude of ζU is very small for φ = 0. [Google Scholar]
