Photon blockade in a hybrid quantum dot-optomechanical system with three-wave-mixing

In this study, we explore the photon blockade effect in a hybrid quantum dot-optomechanical system with three-wave mixing. Based on this theoretical model, the system’s Hamiltonian is constructed to derive optimal conditions for photon blockade, which are validated through numerical solutions of the master equation in the steady-state limit. The agreement between analytical and numerical results confirms the feasibility of photon blockade. Furthermore, we discuss in detail the effects of several parameters on the realization of photon blockade. The results show that the photon blockade could be enhanced by tuning the coupling strength between the quantum dot and cavity.
